1. Nature of the service
FAAL RADAR helps users create signed Safe, Help or Unknown status packets, carry those packets through nearby devices without internet and make them map-visible when connectivity becomes available.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service lawfully, in good faith and for genuine disaster or preparedness purposes. Deliberately sending false help requests, impersonating another person, bypassing identity or signature controls, overwhelming the service, distributing malicious packets or exposing sensitive data without permission is prohibited.
3. User choices and device permissions
You are responsible for sharing presets, dog-tag fields, signal states and operating-system permissions. Blood type and health notes are not medically verified. Location and battery data may be delayed or inaccurate. A Recovery QR can carry your anonymous identity; secure it and never share it.
4. Limits of offline relay
Relay depends on device hardware, Bluetooth/local-network permissions, radio distance, battery, manufacturer background restrictions, nearby FAAL RADAR devices and eventual internet access. A state indicating that a signal was received, relayed or reached the map does not mean an authority saw it or began a response.
5. Map and disaster data
Map markers may be aggregated, delayed, approximate or user-generated. USGS/EMSC events and USGS intensity layers are informational and do not replace local official alerts. Old events and expired signals may be removed from visibility.
6. Free features and Pro
Core SAFE/HELP/UNKNOWN signals, offline relay and the basic map are not paywalled. Pro may provide Close Circle and additional preparedness features. Purchases, renewals, trials, cancellations and refunds are handled through Apple App Store or Google Play. Manage subscriptions in your store account; cancellation does not automatically refund a current period.
7. Intellectual property and sources
The application, website, brand, design and original software belong to Faaltek or their respective owners. Map and disaster data remains subject to source licenses and attribution. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right for personal and lawful use.
8. Availability and changes
Infrastructure, power, internet and platform services may fail during a disaster. Versions, protocols, limits, sources or features may change for safety, and a risky feature may be temporarily disabled. Maintenance and provider outages can occur.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for losses caused by failure to contact official services, incorrect user data, device/connectivity failure, third-party sources or disaster conditions outside our control. Nothing excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Suspension and termination
Packets may be rejected, tokens retired or access limited where security, abuse or legal violations are suspected. You can stop using the service by deleting the app; stop an active signal first where possible. See Data Deletion for data handling.
11. Governing law and updates
Subject to mandatory consumer and data-protection rules, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The effective date will change for material updates. Review current terms before continuing use.
