1. Remove an active signal from the map
- Open the Signals tab.
- Select the active signal sent by this device.
- Choose Stop signal broadcast.
- The app creates a signed revocation. If offline, it is queued locally and may travel through nearby devices.
- When connectivity returns, the raw server signal object is removed and map visibility ends.
2. Delete local device data
Stop an active signal first. Then:
- Android: Settings → Apps → FAAL RADAR → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.
- iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → FAAL RADAR → Delete App. “Offload App” can preserve documents and is not a complete deletion.
This removes the anonymous identity, local dog tag, carried-signal queue, settings and local Close Circle aliases. Destroy any Recovery QR you exported separately; the app cannot access that copy.
3. Remove a Close Circle relationship
Open Dog Tag → Close Circle, select the person and choose Remove from circle. This removes membership and status targeting; the feature does not retain continuous location.
4. Pro and store records
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel FAAL RADAR Pro in Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Apple or Google retains payment history under its policy; FAAL RADAR cannot directly erase store records.
5. Server data request
For access or deletion beyond active-signal revocation, email furkanokuk@faaltek.com with “FAAL RADAR Data Request.” Because there is no account or password, ownership may need to be proven through a signed proof generated by the app without disclosing the private key.
6. What may not be deleted immediately?
Limited transaction and integrity records may be temporarily retained where needed for legal obligations, security, fraud/abuse prevention, disputes or normal backup cycles. Map visibility and a limited security record are not the same. A response will explain scope and any applicable exception.
7. Response
Requests are evaluated within the timelines required by applicable data-protection law. If ownership cannot be verified or another person's rights may be affected, we may request an additional data-minimizing verification.
